About Us

Defending our Countryside

We're a passionate network of campaigners, naturalists, and neighbours united by one mission: keeping our fields green.

Every Green Space Tells a Story

Why Fields Matter

Across the UK, we lose approximately 12,000 hectares (120 sq. km) of greenfield land to development each year. These aren't just empty plots โ€” they're habitats for endangered species, carbon sinks fighting climate change, and places where communities gather, play, and breathe.

Save our Fields was founded by a group of concerned citizens who have their last remaining local fields under threat of development. Every day in the UK more fields come under threat from housing estates and data centers.

This is now a growing and major NATIONAL issue. More green spaces are being developed with little to no oversight and in many cases, without a proper, complete and correct public planning and consultation process. Sign up and join the fight with us!
